Session 1: Thursday, April 4th, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM "Effective Mobile Apps for Concert and Festival Production" Mobile apps are no longer a luxury, but an in-demand necessity for live events. From marketing and promotion, to festival lineup, to audience data capture, to lighting and sound, mobile apps bring concert and festival production to life. This A3E session will focus on developing effective mobile applications for large-scale live events.
Session 2: Thursday, April 4th, 12:00 AM - 1:00 PM "New Tools & Technology for Creative Directors and Lighting Designers" Stage and production design for live events is among the fastest evolving fields. This A3E session will showcase some of the most innovative new tools and technology for lighting and stage design, and explore its creative impact on the future of concert production.
Session 3: Thursday, April 4th, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM "Incorporating Augmented and Virtual Reality On Stage" As it finds its place in our mainstream consumer technology such as phones and glasses, Augmented and Virtual Reality technology will become a core component of stage production. Holograms, virtual stage environments, and mind-bending audience experiences are beginning to morph the real world into scenes from the latest video games. This A3E session will focus on incorporating the latest in Augmented and Virtual Reality in live performance.
Session 4: Thursday, April 14th, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM "Blockchain Technology for the Music Industry" Once an industry of brick-and-mortar retail outlets, with shelves of physical product, the modern music industry is a massive repository of data files, streaming directly to our personal devices. Every subscription and every listen is a server-based transaction that requires privacy protection and data management to ensure royalties are paid to the correct parties. This A3E session will focus on an open-source protocol for the unifor indetification of music rights holders and creators.
